SE: Societe Generale CEO Oudea on Capital Ratio, 2Q Earnings, Dividends

Aug.01 — Societe Generale CEO Frederic Oudea said that a CET1 ratio of 12% should do something to assuage investors’ fears, adding that he saw no reason to cut the company’s dividend as a result. That’s after the company’s second quarter results saw revenue from fixed income down 10% and equities down 7%. Oudea spoke with Bloomberg’s Caroline Connan in Paris.
