Oct.30 — German coronavirus cases exceed 500,000 after a gain of 19,409. There were also fresh records in Italy and Spain with global cases topping 45 million as the outbreak surges in Europe and the U.S. France is now in a month-long lockdown as the EU’s largest economies impose varying degrees of measures to fight the virus spread.
